The legal profession must be a place of dignity, mentorship, and mutual respect.
Recent conversations have highlighted painful experiences faced by young lawyers — particularly young women — involving harassment, intimidation, coercion, and abuse of power within professional spaces.
Silence should never be the price of ambition.
As part of my commitment to a safer and more accountable Bar, I am establishing this Confidential Support & Referral Platform to provide a safe space for young lawyers to seek support and guidance.
Who is this for?
- Pupils and trainee advocates

- Interns in law firms or legal institutions
- Any advocate experiencing harassment or professional misconduct

This platform is focused on support and protection. It does not publish allegations, conduct investigations, or determine guilt.
- If you choose to provide contact information:
- Your submission will be reviewed by a small, confidential support team.
- You will be contacted privately.
- You may be referred to an independent, licensed counsellor.
- You will be guided on formal reporting options available through appropriate legal and institutional channels — if you choose to pursue them.
If you submit anonymously:
- Your experience will be received and documented.
- You may still access listed support resources.
- No identifying action will be taken.
This platform does not replace formal complaint or disciplinary mechanisms within LSK or other institutions.
It does not:
- Publicly name individuals
- Determine liability
- Substitute official investigations
It is a support and referral mechanism grounded in confidentiality, dignity, and respect for due process.
A safe Bar is not optional — it is foundational.

- Strengthening reporting protections
- Promoting zero tolerance for harassment and abuse of power
- Ensuring that young lawyers can grow in environments of safety and respect
